An even bigger thank you to those who wrote in answers to my questions. Your responses will help me move forward with the blog in a way that is hopefully valuable to you.
An overwhelming number of readers requested more information about subscribing to my blog by email and details about how I handle your personal information.
About subscribing… When you go to any page on my blog, whether it’s the most recent post or one of the older posts, on the right-hand side of the page there is a panel with several items including categories, archived posts, and a search bar. At the very top, there is a section with the words “Subscribe to New Posts by Email.” Underneath that are two boxes, one for your first name, and one for your email address. Once you have entered that information, click on the orange ‘join now’ button below the two boxes, and you will start receiving my blog posts by email. That’s all there is to it!
About your personal information… On my end, I use a well-respected, secure service that enables me to enter my blog post and then it automatically sends that post to everyone who has followed the above steps and subscribed to my blog. I only have your first name and email address…no other information is accessed from you. I don’t have any employees, and I am the only one who can access this list. When you receive my blog post by email, it is like any other email you might get. I don’t use your name/email address for any other purpose other than sending you my blog posts by email. I will not solicit you in any way!
I hope this reassures you that it is safe to subscribe to my blog. Thanks again for your time.
